Medicaid/Medicare virtual visits notice:
If you have a State Medicaid or Medicare Advantage plan offered by an insurance company virtual visit services are generally not allowed.
If your coverage is through an Employer Offered Retiree Only Medicare Advantage Plan virtual visits are generally a covered service.
If your benefit plan appears to cover virtual visits once you select a provider, it will be up to the selected contracted provider to confirm that your current benefit plan covers these services, if the services are clinically appropriate and if any specific consent forms are required.
